As
we all know, every family needs a place to call home, a place
of love, joy and fellowship, where the presence of our Lord
and Savior Jesus Christ is; a shelter to retire to at anytime
from the chaotic world we live in. AHF is taking steps to own
such a place for her present and future family.
After
13 years of fellowshipping in homes and rented spaces, we have
decided to build our own house of worship. We are very thankful
to God for the different locations He has provided for us to
worship in. We are also thankful for the various landlords we
have had, especially our current landlord, Bloomfield Centre.
However, we know that our own premises would provide us with
many more benefits, enabling this ministry to better serve the
souls the Lord brings to us: children, youth and adults from
here and abroad.
Our
short term vision is to purchase a premise that would comfortably
seat 100 people. Conversely, our long-term goal is to purchase
and develop a multi-purpose centre which would accommodate hundreds
more and also serve as an administrative headquarters in meeting
the diverse social, physical and spiritual needs of our local
community and internationally. By supporting this building fund,
you will be assisting us to build a much needed facility which
will enable our ministry to accommodate and facilitate the growing
needs of thousands who are unable to help themselves. For example,
new training centres, drop-in centers for children and youth,
schools and churches are needed to educate and develop those
who have been impoverished and ravished by disease, unemployment,
low wages and the devastating effects of war. Food, clothing,
medicine and shelter are also in great demand, especially for
the sick, widows and orphans who have been left homeless and
unable to fend for themselves.
Within
the next 5 years, we expect to raise approximately $200,000
towards this vital project. In a way, our current financial
target is more time-sensitive than amount-sensitive. This is
because any money we raise above and beyond meeting the short
term vision of purchasing a premise will be directly channeled
to finance our long-term vision.
As
you support this worthy project, we pray that our "God
will make all grace abound towards you; that you, always having
all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work."
(2 Corinthians 9:8).
A
heartfelt thanks for your contribution.
We
invite you to come and be part of our growing family. Everyone
is welcome.
